FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
What is IV Therapy?Intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy is a safe and effective method for delivering vitamins and minerals directly to your bloodstream. This method bypasses the digestive tract which allows for 100% absorption of all nutrients, making them immediately available for cellular use.
-
How does it work? After consenting to treatment and providing a brief medical history, you can select an IV from our menu (Intramuscular shots are also available). Once the paperwork is complete we will take you back to any of our seats to get comfortable while we prepare the IV. Your arm will be prepped in a sterile fashion, and an IV will be placed and secured. A normal IV bag takes about 30-60 minutes to complete. Once completed we will remove the catheter tube, cover the IV entrance site, and hand you your paperwork. It is that simple! Ask about our VIP treatments and subscriptions. Hope to see you soon!

What are the benefits of IV therapy? There are many benefits, which include but are not limited to: • Most efficient method of delivering vital nutrients to the body • Bypasses the digestive tract for 100% absorption • Nutrients are immediately available for cellular use • Safely delivers higher doses of vitamins that would not be tolerated if taken orally • Boosts immune system to help prevent or treat illness • Increases energy • Slows the effects of aging
-
Is it safe?Yes, we only use reputable and accredited compounding pharmacies for our ingredients. These infusions are administered by licensed skilled IV specialists.
-
Are there side effects?Side effects are rare. If they do occur, they are usually minor and short lived and can include: Bruising or bleeding at IV site Warming or cooling sensation in arm, chest or stomach Vitamin taste in mouth Vitamin smell in urine Our licensed staff are trained to manage all side effects that may occur.
-
Do IVs hurt? Our skilled professionals ensure the least amount of pain is felt, if any at all. A numbing topical cream can be purchased for use to dull the sensation at your request. Once the IV is in place only a very small straw will be left in the vein to ensure a comfortable session.
-
What can I expect during my treatment? Most of our treatments take anywhere between 15-90 minutes. During this time you can relax, recline, read, listen to music on your headphones, and just take time for you! Once the treatment has started you can recline in one of our comfortable chairs or loungers and enjoy the benefits of vitamin therapy. You may experience a warming sensation in your arm chest or abdomen when the IV is infusing as well as the sensation of tasting some of the vitamins and nutrients that are in the treatment.
-
How often do I need treatments? This depends on each individual's needs and treatments preferred. For best results we recommend weekly or bi-monthly infusions with many of the treatments targeting skin care and anti-aging. Some of the treatments are a quick fix and are only needed when the ailment is active ie: migraine, hangover. We suggest speaking to the Registered Nurse on site for what would be best for you and your needs.
-
Is this better than taking vitamins orally?Yes! Vitamins and nutrients taken orally are only partially absorbed. Getting vitamins through the IV process is a direct route to the bloodstream and cells for maximum absorption. We recommend continuing your daily vitamin regimen.
-
How soon will I feel the effects?IV hydration goes straight to your blood stream bypassing the GI tract and absorbing 100% of the nutrients. Typically, you will feel the effects within an hour of treatment. Some of our drip cocktails are designed for long term benefits and may not give you the immediate boost you are looking for.
-
Can I receive IV therapy while taking other medications? There are a few medications that can interact with IV therapy. Our RN on staff will conduct a thorough client history to ensure the drip of your choice is not only safe for you but effective, and not interacting with your current medication regimen.
